Discuss Software & Web 2.0 (Online) Software Applications 1) What software will be most useful to you as a teacher? * The online Spreadsheet is a great tool for teachers to organize lesson plans. The Ning Site is also an essential tool we can use to integrate lessons with technology. It allows users to create a brainstorming way by following simple and easy to read directions. 2) What software do you like to use for your own personal use? * The software i would like to use is Web Quest. This site provides lesson plans shared by educators all over the world. this is extremely helpful for first year teachers who are overwhelmed with how to prepare and what to include in their lesson plans or activities. 3) What do you think about Web 2.0 Software Applications, such as zoho sheets, Show & Docs, as compared to proprietary software such as Microsoft Office which includes Word, PowerPoint, Excel? * Well, the Microsoft Office Applications are tools I'm most familiar with. I prefer the Microsoft office because it commonly applied in schools all over the word. Students are taught to practice their computer application skills on these softwares.
