PREZI Final Presentation
The final Presentation Project was produced through the Prezi Website. We presented ways to assist students with language learning. We incorporated three video clips to better describe soft wares and to simply enhance the retention of our viewers. We mentioned soft wares such as Rosetta Stone and many other resources teachers should consider when working with students who are English Language Learners and students who speak English as a second language.
The Prezi Website is an online tool used to create presentations. It is similar to Slide Share and Microsoft PowerPoint however Prezi includes many interesting elements that make presentations fun to create and present.
On a scale of 1-10, I would definitely rate the Prezi Presentation maker a 10. If you are not familiar with the site at first, you may be overwhelmed but after exploring the different tools you will find yourself discovering ways to make your presentation stand out from the rest.
Now that I am more familiar with the website, I definitely plan on using it again and I plan on utilizing the tools I was too afraid to try the first time.
Although Prezi is a new way to share ideas and it does require Internet access to present and utilize Prezi. It was also kind of confusing at first but I would have to say the site is user friendly. You just have to be willing to navigate and explore and take initiative to learn.
I definitely plan on using this in my future classroom because I grew up with Power Point presentations through Microsoft Office and the NET Generation is a group of people, my potential students who will demand the use of the Internet. In order to provide a fulfilling learning experience we have to meet their needs.
