Week 1 Blogger.com

• Today, February 09, 2012 I was introduced to the Blogger website. A blog is simply an online journal that allows anyone to share their thoughts and ideas and learn the professional view of other bloggers. The Blogger website provides a variety of backgrounds to select from to personalize your blog site to closely reflect your personality and who you are. Also, you are able to link peers, colleagues and friends to your blog allowing you to easily access and view their ideas and thoughts.
• The Blogger website is an essential tool future teachers such as myself can apply to their classroom. Becoming familiar with the Blogger website or sites similar to this one is  vital. Technology is constantly advancing and in order for teachers to provide  students with a fulfilling education we must be aware of the different aspects that can improve and accommodate their learning. 
• Teachers can utilize the Blogger website by having students post daily journals and respond to fellow peers with netiquette in mind. This will allow students to practice the appropriate way to respond to peers and instructors views. 
• So far this has been a very informative introduction to the Blogger Website. I look forward to further working through this blog site and applying it to my future classroom. I rate this site an 8.
